Bernardo Valente

I’m a Visiting Professor of Political Science and a Research Fellow at the University of Lisbon. I will soon complete my PhD at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

I’m a Political Scientist with an academic background in mixed methods. I am interested in researching topics such as Public Participation in urban policy, Technology/Innovation Studies and E-governance.

Previously, I completed my master’s degree in Political Science, with a specialisation in International Political Economy, at the University of Copenhagen. Throughout the years, I held research positions at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE) and at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES).
